  14. What is Memory Filler?

  16. Memory Filler is a memory stress-testing tool. It allows you to reduce the amount of free temporary and/or System memory to any desired amount. It's great for testing products under low memory conditions.

  18. What does Memory Filler require to run?

Memory Filler should run on any Macintosh running System 7 or greater. It has been tested on a PowerMac 8500, PowerMac 7500, PowerMac 7200, and a PowerMac 6100/60 with the following System's: System 7.5.5, 7.5.3, and 7.1.2. It's also been tested on pre-release versions of System 7.6 (Harmony).

  22. How do I use Memory Filler?

Using Memory Filler is easy. Simply launch it and you'll be presented with a dialog that lets you choose how to fill your memory. You can fill temporary or System memory. Check the checkboxes next to the type of memory you want to fill and enter the amount of memory you want remaining after it fills. That's it.

  32. Yes, please do! You may distribute this application anyway you want as long as you include the full package and do not charge for it. Reasonable media and distribution costs excluded.

  36. Memory Filler was written in C++ using CodeWarrior and PowerPlant. Resources were created and edited with Constructor and Resorcerer.
